Bryn Pica Eco Park

QMPF is delighted to announce its appointment by Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council to provide financial advice in relation to an Eco Park development at the Bryn Pica Waste Management Facility, Aberdare, South East Wales.

The project will use heat and power from a newly constructed Anaerobic Digestion plant to supply a range of reprocessing customers which are set to locate on the immediately adjacent, but yet to be constructed, Eco Business Park. QMPF will work collaboratively with our consortium partner, engineering consultancy firm Sustainable Energy Ltd, to develop an Outline Business Case for the scheme.

QMPF will lead on the financial requirements of the remit, including the development of a full financial model, leveraging our extensive and recent experience in both the anaerobic digestion and district heating sectors to provide key commercial insight and advice to the scheme.

Our appointment on the Bryn Pica project is the latest in a long list of recent advisory remits for QMPF’s Renewables Team, who are currently advising on 3 anaerobic digestion projects having closed 4 anaerobic digestion plant sales transactions in the last year, as well as advising on 9 district heating projects across the UK.
