Graduate Analyst - The Opportunity
We are recruiting a graduate level Analyst to join our advisory team. We will offer the opportunity to gain direct experience on projects across all of our sectors, develop core corporate finance skills, extensive training and a path for longer term progression within the business. You will also be encouraged and supported to take the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams as part of your training. An initial focus of the role will be on developing core financial modelling skills with the expectation that the successful candidate can progress to managing client relationships. The role will also include responsibility for research across all active sectors and markets, preparation of client presentations and general analytical support.
We are seeking a determined, intellectually curious graduate with an ambition to develop a career in finance. You should have an eagerness to learn and flexibility to manage a varied and changing workload across a range of sectors. We would prefer a numerate candidate with a maths, science or business/economics degree (minimum 2:1 expected) although is not essential – particularly if you can demonstrate a keen interest of the financial markets and skills relevant to our business.
We offer a competitive starting salary of £22k, funded professional qualification through the CFA programme and an annual performance-related bonus. This post will be based in Edinburgh.
Should you wish to apply, please submit your CV with covering letter to Moray Watt by 28 February 2018 at firstname.lastname@example.org.
