Graeme is a Partner of QMPF, and specialises in funding, investment appraisal and capital projects. He currently focuses on the education sector and financing of student accommodation, and has a range of public and private sector clients. His experience also includes social housing, PPP and providing general corporate advice to public sector bodies such as Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd and the National Asset Management Agency (Ireland).
Graeme has expertise in treasury management, valuation, financial modelling/forecasts and debt raising – being a key member of our debt advisory team which has raised in excess of £1bn in loan and capital market facilities for education sector clients in the last 5 years.
He recently advised Uliving on their partnership deal for the University of Gloucestershire’s £55m Pittville student village, with funding being facilitated by a guarantee from HM Treasury. Other recent student accommodation projects include the University of Edinburgh’s £92m, Holyrood Road scheme (funded by a listed bond issue) and the University of Salford’s £81m/1,367 on-campus bedspaces, which were funded by a long-dated lease from a pension institution.
Graeme joined Quayle Munro in 2008, having previously worked in PwC’s Banking & Capital Markets division in London and at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, with a first class honours degree in Economics with Business Economics from Glasgow University.
