Rebecca Herron

Associate

Rebecca joined QMPF in January 2019 and has been involved in a variety of projects in the education, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

Rebecca’s experience in the higher education sector includes supporting Royal Holloway, University of London to secure a £60m private placement and providing options appraisals on debt raising.  She is currently advising several Universities on the funding and development of student accommodation.

Rebecca also provides financial advice and modelling across a range of renewable energy projects. Her experience includes the valuation of an anaerobic digestion plant and advising Dundee City Council on its Dighty Corridor district heating network, which involved the development of a financial model, sensitivity analysis and drafting of the financial section of the Investment Grade Business Case.

Her experience also includes the delivery of monitoring models for a number of hub projects in Scotland.

Rebecca graduated from University College London with a MA in Latin American Studies and from the University of Edinburgh with a MA Hons in Spanish and French (spending a year abroad at the Sorbonne University, France, and the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain). Following her undergraduate degree, Rebecca spent two years teaching English in Mexico through the British Council English Language Assistant programme. She is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying with PwC’s Assurance practice.
