We were delighted to be shortlisted at Partnerships Awards earlier this month in the “Financial Advisor of the Year” category.
Although we narrowly lost out on the main award to Deloitte (congratulations!) we were Highly Commended by the judges in this category.
The Partnerships Awards is an annual event that celebrates excellence and innovation in the global infrastructure and public-private partnership (PPP) industry. The full shortlist and results are shared here: https://www.partnershipsawards.com/2023-results
Our submission was centred on recent successful delivery in the following areas:
- Health: leading the £61m refinancing of Hull Citycare Limited, an NHS primary care project;
- Senior Living: advising John Laing on its successful investment and partnership with McCarthy and Stone; and
- Higher Education: continuing innovation in applying project finance structures to public-private partnerships in the student accommodation sector.
Our team has also been exploring new financing structures in the district heating sector, working with community-owned renewable energy projects and supporting clients in delivering local authority development and regeneration partnerships.
We’re grateful to the Partnerships Awards judging panel for recognising our contribution and look forward to continuing to serve our clients across the sector.
