Glenrothes district heating network development
Assistance in the structuring, financial modelling and business case development for a heat network in Glenrothes. We also advised on the risks and rewards associated with various financing structures and summarised the potential grant and loan funding available from the UK and Scottish Government.
The proposed heat network has the capacity to deliver 12,747 MWh of heat to commercial, public sector and residential properties, the system will utilise heat from the RWE biomass CHP plant.
QMPF was engaged through LCITP by Fife Council and RWE to assist on this project.
