We are pleased to announce that QMPF has been shortlisted for the Property Week Student Accommodation “Professional Team of the Year” Award 2022. Recent highlights included achieving financial close for 3 major partnership projects – with the London School of Economics, University of Essex and University of Birmingham – which helped raise over £400 million of off-balance sheet funding to support the delivery of more than 3,000 new and refurbished beds.
We have also been recognised for helping universities meet their sustainability targets. Current projects include the University of Exeter’s latest development of 1,800 beds which will be built to a Passivhaus standard, and Staffordshire University’s new student village at its Stoke campus which features innovative ‘net zero’ carbon objectives.
To date, we have worked with more than half of UK universities, providing funding options advice, debt raising and delivery of partnership projects. Our work has also evolved to include financial advisory roles with operators and investors (including Unite, iQ, Equitix and Uliving) as they seek to engage with university partners.
