QMPF is pleased to have been appointed as financial advisor to the University of Exeter on their Clydesdale and Birks Student Residences DBFO project which has now commenced procurement with an estimated construction contract value of £185m.
The student residences facility will deliver in the region of 1,790 new bed spaces (approximately 1,500 new build and approximately 290 refurbished) at Clydesdale & Birks Grange, on the University’s Streatham campus, along with a new Grounds Compound and associated facilities on the site. The contract will deliver an off-balance sheet transaction (or one that has minimal impact on the University’s balance sheet) and a capital receipt to the University for a student residences facility in keeping with a UK Top 10 and the Russell Group University.
