LCITP Funding

The LCITP is a Scottish Government led initiative which provides support for low carbon heat projects, local energy systems and renewable electricity solutions for buildings across Scotland. The LCITP offers funding to private, public and community-led projects to support the development of Investment Grade Business Cases and also offers development capital grants. QMPF has previously developed business cases for 11 LCITP projects, and we would be happy to answer any queries you may have regarding the latest LCITP funding round.  Further information can be found here.

The UK Higher Education (“HE”) sector continues to face financial headwinds driven, in part, by limited increases in domestic tuition fees, volatility international recruitment and inflationary pressures. The May 2025 Office for Students (”OfS”) financial sustainability report highlighted that 45% of providers are expecting an operating deficit in FY24/25, with many universities announcing redundancy and restructuring programmes to improve their financial position.
